BACKGROUND STORY:
When he was a young boy, Ueki was playing and showing off to his friends by balancing atop a building. When he fell, he was saved by Mr. K, who would end up becoming his King Candidate. When they met again, Ueki pretended not to remember him, as he didn't want to owe Mr. K anything. When he was shown Mr. K's ability to destroy a tree, Ueki asked if there was a power to reverse that. That was the power he ultimately picked.

The ability given to him by Mr. K was the ability to turn trash into trees. Despite seemingly weak, Ueki has shown to use this ability creatively and skillfully, allowing him to beat someone with 299 talents when Ueki only had 11.

Effect:

Information:
Kurogane is the 1-star sacred treasure a Heavenly Being gains through consciousness/realization of the fact that one is a Heavenly Being, allowing one to transform one's arm into a large cannon that fires a large ball at the opponent. As a Neo, Ueki's Kurogane instead grows out from a tree and fires a large ball of wooden strands.
