Discussion about changing name

I already think this from first version of map, around 3 month before releasing the 1.0 version of map..
At that time i saw korean map that using similar name like our map.. it's called Ani character battle
After saw it, we really just cannot feel at ease, we somehow like stolen their name, but the truth i make this map name from middle of 2009 already.. and i saw they only made the map for 3 months.. of course we are the first one who using the name, but at that time we even still not releasing our map yet.. so no wonder they don't realized..

Even we are both not stealing the idea of name, it's just like we are the one who stole the name since they release the map more fast than us..
While still on earlier version i saw their map is having HQ models inside, all made by Koreans. The map itself is just another plain terrains that looks like FOC terrain with HQ models and standard spell system. But at least they do have pride using own made country work even i saw on the credits not even adding credits to ddahe, mello, Arisia.T for their good models..
but at the end because of greedy human nature that always haunts all of us human, they finally do illegal things as long they got what they wants, they finally stole our models (currently they use Shana and Black Rock Shooter) and of course without credit to us or even mention our map name..

after knowing this, i myself now really don't like at the map, not only have similar name but also stealing our models.. so.. finally my intention of changing map name become absolute now..

so back to topic, i'm going to change map name into "Anime Battle Chronicles" for version 1.3
and also changing our logo for a new one..
i changed it only the Character part.. because ABC still ABC.. so we just have a little different name..

FAQ,
Q: why you change the map name on 1.3? why not on 1.2?
A: because we on 1.2 only intentional on adding heroes and items, and later at version 1.3 we are gonna make 2 new gameplay to the map and that makes our map is not a Hero Arena map genre anymore rather than Mixed Genre.. And somehow "Characters" is related to hero arena map.

Q: can i suggest some names?
A: sure, but you must still refer to ABC short name.. "A.... B.... C...."

Q: is that ani character battle map is good?
A: i don't want to say, but you can try by yourself, just search it on http://mapgnome.org and you will find it.

For all those who's out there and have not tried it yet, don't. I myself can make a map like that with ease.

Quite a reason. So on 1.2, there would be new items and heroes. So guess that I am satisfied with that. So that's also the reason with the change of skills.

Anyway, about the name, Anime Battle Chronicles since that the game consist of anime characters. Though I just wonder about why their is a game character. Well let just put that aside, I was shock that the game have no Lina Inverse(Slayer). Well I cant post an idea about her since that I havent seen that one. It is just a character suggestion that would fit to the new name of the map.

i know, that name is quite good already.. at first i already think gonna use that name.. but.. ABC is hero arena map.. so Chronicles is not so quite fit for hero arena map name..

well yes, 1.2 we are gonna add many heroes and items..
since we are still only have abit of heroes selection and items..
oh well let's put aside of "that" map, since we discussing the name for ABC..

Anime Battle Clash? Chronicles is more into RPG-based map name, I think. Unless the new gameplays consist RPG mode.

The thing is, with A restricted to Anime (which is understandable), there are really just limited amount of words that we could use for B & C to mean "battle" and "character" as well as fitting the order of the abbreviation.


I'd personally vote for Anime Battle Chronicles/Clash to preserve the meaning of "Anime Battle Characters". Most of the others either doesn't make sense or doesn't relate at all.

guys... i think you should change the 'A' in ABC coz there are a couple of game characters such as avenger.... you should change it...well i dont really care coz it still has a lot of anime chars

how about Anime Battle Countdown
