ProtoMan is the elite NetNavi of Eugene Chaud. His Navi mark, a circle split with a thunderbolt pattern into two black and white sections, can be seen on ProtoMan's chest and gloves.ProtoMan, as a Navi for an official, is extremely well-trained by Chaud, who actually created ProtoMan himself.

default skill
Variable Sword
Chaud uses mega chip Variable sword. Variable Sword is a Sword type battle chip that changes its effects depending on the commands entered by the operator.

This skill changes depending on the skills used or being use by Protoman.

50 seconds cooldown

Surprise Sword- Variable Sword becomes Surprise Sword after using Proto Shield skill. A circumferencial slash done by Protoman.

deals 500 damage at 400 aoe
deals x2 damage to stunned units
if stunned units are hit by this skill, they are no longer stunned after being hit by this skill.


Copy Blade- Variable Sword becomes Copy Blade after using Program Advance: Life Sword. Copy Blade copies the power of the last used Sword-type battle chip and last only after a strike.

Protoman gains the average damage dealt by the Program Advance as bonus damage for his attack.
how to calculate for the bonus:
1.count the number of units affected by Program Advance.
2.count the damage dealt to each units individually.
3.get the total of it then divide them to the number of units affected.

-the buff last only after one attack

Maim Blade- Variable Sword become Maim Blade when used during the step back delay time of Step Sword.

deals 500 damage and slows affected units by 50%
deals the same aoe with Step Sword

Delta Ray Sword Wave- Variable Sword becomes Delta Ray Sword Wave while triangle Barrier made by Delta Ray Edge is still active. Protoman releases a shockwave targeted at the unit trapped inside the triangle barrier.

deals 2000 damage to the unit.
the shockwave will only hit the unit inside the triangle barrier


skills
Proto Shield
Protoman readies his shield for defense and counter-attacks after being hit.

level1- stuns for 1 second
level2- stuns for 1.5 seconds
level3- stuns for 2 seconds
level4- stuns for 2.5 seconds
level5- stuns for 3 seconds

blocks one attack (hero attack/skills can only block once against multi hit skills)
the one that gets blocked will be stunned
has 30 seconds cooldown

Program Advance: Life Sword
Chaud uses sword, wide sword and long sword battle chips in correct order and thus the command transform into one of the strongest Program Advance.

level1 deals 400 damage in 400 aoe in front of Protoman
level2 deals 500 damage in 400 aoe in front of Protoman
level3 deals 600 damage in 400 aoe in front of Protoman
level4 deals 700 damage in 400 aoe in front of Protoman
level5 deals 800 damage in 400 aoe in front of Protoman

non-targeted skill and performed in front of protoman
has 15 seconds cooldown

Step Sword
Protoman steps to 400 range in front of him and does a slash with a range of a wide sword. After the slash Protoman returns where he originally was.

level1 deals 300 damage to a 300 range aoe
level2 deals 400 damage to a 300 range aoe
level3 deals 500 damage to a 300 range aoe
level4 deals 600 damage to a 300 range aoe
level5 deals 700 damage to a 300 range aoe

has one second delay before steps up
has one second delay before steps back to the place he was originally
delay is placed for the input of Variable Sword skill

Delta Ray Edge
Protoman dashes to his target, loops around it while doing three slashes. The slashes done leaves a barrier like thing that prevents his target from passing through. When the three slashes are done it leaves a triangle shaped barrier which totally traps the target inside of it. After sometime when the triangle barrier is made an explosion of blinding light damages the unit inside of it.


level1 light explosion deals 2000 damage
level2 light explosion deals 3000 damage
level3 light explosion deals 4000 damage

the triangle barrier lasts for 2 seconds, it is like Thrall's skill.
touching the barrier will deal 500 damage
only one unit can be trap inside the barrier
the non-targeted unit trapped with the target will be sent outside
the three slashes aforementioned do not deal damage, its just for the barrier.
explosion will happen after the barrier disappears
the dash is like blink strike and each of the three slashes happen in like 0.5 seconds (I dont know the exact time. but I want this skill to be evadable and the same time I dont)

has 120 seconds cooldown

I dont think that changing the cool down would be necessary. Since that the ulti have an additional damage beside from the main damage of the explosion.

Look carefully at the overall skill at this suggestion.

If you notice that the default skill damage varies from the last skill being use and it means that if he use the default after the ulti, that is an instant 6k damage which is good enough. If you havent seen my Sabrac suggestion before, go look for it and now you see why the ulti have a constant 200 cd even the damage is only 5k.

You dont need to focus on one skill if you are observing or trying to improve it but rather try to look all of the skill and the combo it can do.

This is cd of which? The skill to change or the changed skill?

CB has the same AoE as LS i presume.

Ultimate : Possible AoE ? The damage via touching the barrier is dealt once or everytime the target hit it, if yes then deal damage every ? secs ? Does that damage affects unit outside? Can you use blink related skills to get in/out the barrier? Can you use hook to get the affected unit out of the barrier or use hook to get in the barrier ( in future )?

the cd of the changed skill

no, is a buff like move. the bonus damage you get depends on how much damage LS did.

barrier damages only once per side, so if victim moves around the triangle they can take 1500 damage in total.
barrier only damages the unit inside of it.
blinking away would is possible, meat hook cant take the unit outside
