Yeah, the background's pretty cool. Though I'm no artist myself thus I'm in no position to actually criticise your work, I think all I can say is that BRS needs some work

^ It's not bad, (I suck at drawing, so I have no right to say you're bad at it) but I wouldn't say it's good

Anyways, if you say you're a newbie artist, that would mean there's a lot of room for improvement. With time and practice, I'm sure you'll be a great artist one day, so good luck Grin~

The pose is too stiff, and the pic isn't good by my standard, which is pretty high i think.

The only thing that is absolutely wrong(at least for me) is the background. If you draw with pencil or pencil effect, the background must be drawn with pencil too. Only use some nifty 3D effect background if you're already mastered drawing skill like Deviant Art's god artists or you use render images.

Nevertheless, practice makes perfect. Just keep practicing both in drawing, making good background, and balancing them. Grin~

But nobody's perfect. So why practice? LOL

But really, just keep practicing and you'll eventually get it done. Just try to have a copy first of the one you're drawing if you're practicing. Not just drawing it on the spot

Nobody exists, because we know that nobody exists where there is no people.

All you have to do is kill yourself at somewhere no one is around, thus making that place inhabited with -no-people- -> you become nobody -> PERFECT.
