Curious Question

Sometimes, I will be playing ABC and can't help but wonder: how did some of these characters get picked? It makes sense for characters such as Shana, BRS, and others, but others like Assassin, Avenger, and TK make me wonder. I have nothing against any of the characters (maybe Roa), but how did they get picked over characters that could easily overshadow them?

Most of them are picked by the creators based on their own personal opinion at start, it wasn't until recently that we had a community large enough to ask outside opinion from. That, and I think they wanted to use characters that you couldn't find in other maps
