BACKGROUND STORY:
Kuroi Mato is the human persona of Black Rock Shooter (BRS) who is from the "Other World". The two characters are spiritually connected to help each other in achieving their goals - for Kuroi: to find her best friend Yomi and BRS: to defeat Dead Master. BRS has two main weapons: Rock Cannon and a katana, with her cannon being able to alter between Cannon Mode (for long distance attacks) and Bladed Mode (for CQC).

'Phantasm' is one of the techniques that BRS utilises when the blue flame from her left eye intensifies to its maximum, which allows her to move so quickly that she leaves behind 'phantom' images of herself.

Effect:
Grants BRS 100% bonus MS, and deals 300/500/700/900/1100 damage to all enemies she encounters; the same target cannot be hitted twice. Last for 4 seconds.

Ultimate - Black Rock 'Energy' Cannon
Information:
BRS fully charges her cannon and fires a powerful double-shot energy blast towards her adversaries. However, the cannon needs to be recharged before this attack can be used again.

Effect:
BRS uses her Rock Cannon to fire a double-shot energy blast towards a direction after a 2 second delay; The initial blast deals [30/40/50 X Current Mana] damage, while the 2nd blast will deal 25% initial blast damage. Mana is set to 0% at the end of effect.

Guide on using BRS.

Gameplay tips:

Early: Farm as much as you can. The first skill is very deadly when you seriously know how to use it. [Refer down for the skill tip] This BRS would be very weak if she got owned in early. First skill can finish a enemy that is trapped within creeps, use it well. Try to conflict with the enemy hero as much as you can. Your block ability is very good for F2F* combat. Keep upping 2nd skill as well as 3rd.

Mid: Time to roll, the most important part of BRS. Don't use Ulti AT ALL unless you have 2 or more targets in front of your point. Hitting 1 person on this skill isn't really wise. [I presume all knows this] B2T* As usual conflict as much as possible with the enemy hero is still a good play, but try more farming on the amount of creeps (Unless your allies or anyone else killed all of them). Once you see an enemy, try to clash into him, (Look to bottom for item series) attack him to reduce his/her armor with corruption lance, activate third skill, keep clashing him. Use first skill if you want or you can just attack him (your damage is quite good now already)

Late:
Erm, if you're doing VERY good in Mid game, you will not have any problem anymore, just repeat Mid game tip, you can keep owning already ._.

Item guide:
In series:
1. HP Crystal/Talisman [She can be an exception of not buying the hp crystal, she must have it before mid game.
2. Talisman/ HP Crystal
3. Boots/Lance [ Boots are essential to chase enemy after activating E, Lance is useful to corrupt the enemy when E]
4. Glove [Very useful for her damage]
5. Sword/ Axe [I recommend Axe for overall but you can try sword for fast killing]
6. <Anything> [ You can put anything here, it doesn't really matters after you have 1-5]

Rush until 5, you can buy watever crap you want for 6. I personally recommend Armor or anything that you left out from the '/' though.

Skilling Tips:
Chain Action aka the crazy dps and torturing - This skill is tricky, don't try to target this skill ON the unit, target it away from it.Because it actually left out a space in the middle, a good player will know this thing and stays in the middle. (I'll make a gif of this sooner of later)

Cannon Ulti
- OMG IMBA, nah, dont just try to spam this skill as much as possible , ITS CRUCIAL TO KILL KILL AND KILL A LOT OF PEOPLE NOT ONLY 1 target. Charge it up to 100 mana , THEN ONLY blast, dont just around 40 mana and start blowing people's ass off, it is lame to do so.

As a conclusion, BRS will be tough to be played if she was not properly used in early-mid game.

Another guide made from my Own view Point.
Kuroi Mato - Black Rock Shooter
Role: Farmer/DPS - Easy to get items with it, since it's a farmer, She needs HP, DMG and Armor to tank.
Items: HP Orb (HP, Obvious) - Alastor (Stats and 500DMG) - Boots (To chase enemies) - Hollow Mask(Tank build) or Gae Bolga (DPS Build) - Sword (For DMG) - Armor (To tank, what else should be an armor for)
Notes: Funny hero, easy to be OVERFARMED and Pwn enemies easy (Everybody loves this), Imba Long Range Ultimate (Who doesn't like 7500 DMG on a Line while enemies are crying ''IMBA IMBA'')

Depends on whether its a 3v3 or 4v4 or even 5v5.
Get yourself a 600 exp tome or two, remember to spare 125 gold to buy a pot. The face that it gives you 1~2 level = 1~2 more skills makes you more powerful and shits.

This applies to 1.1

BRS : ALWAYS.GET.CHAIN.ACTION.FIRST. As you level it, the cd will be shortened thus improve your farming ability by 9999%. Then block , then first skill. Block is amazingly effective , if you are lucky enough (obv).

To farm, lure at least, and please, at least 3 creep spawining spots, then 1 chain action to clear them all. If your team has baby sitter like Miku, have her do the luring for you, stacking with your lure -> 6 spots+, 1 chain action to go from bot to upper mid like a boss. I myself even use Ultimate to farm, due to the fact that it only has 15s CD and during that CD, you can regen enough mana to kill almost every mobs possible. And due to the new changes to the skill, it's less effective when going pvp, but still maintain its super fking ultra huge range which can be used to last hit those heroes running (on foot) to base.

To run away, first skill at the location where they are supposed to be after 0.5~1s depends on whether they have shoes or not, stays like that for 0.7s (channeling) then chain action back to base, or somewhere safe to teleport.

To pkwn everyone, simply outfarm them. Get yourself 1 last tier HP ball, then 1 Sealing Wand, then a last tier sword or glove (depends on your luck with the default skill, i myself get full AS all the time), the other 3 items could be either last tier HP balls or Armor.

Don't even think about buying that scythe for cleaving, that wtf mask for some useless leech, the stinking gay blog for some worthless -10 armor (leave that item to your ranged ally) while you can save your 1-orb-effect-at-a-time-only for something that deals extra magical damage and slow at the same time. Note that even if your *luck* is as low as grimmjow's picking rate in non-pub games, you can always count on 2 gloves to trigger the default, thus boost the chance to trigger the wand's effect.
